Dongguan Daodong Hospital is located beside the Western Dongguan Expressway. It is a non-profit, comprehensive public hospital integrating medical care, prevention, health preservation, rehabilitation, scientific research, and teaching, and is the only designated social security hospital in Daodong Town. The hospital consistently adheres to the service philosophy of "people-oriented, sincere service," establishing specialized departments in geriatrics, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, rheumatology and immunology, urology, traditional Chinese medicine rehabilitation, intensive care, and chronic wound treatment. The hospital has 22 clinical and medical technology departments, including cardiology, endocrinology, respiratory medicine, rheumatology and immunology, gastroenterology, pediatrics, general surgery, urology, orthopedics, pain management, obstetrics and gynecology, ICU, TCM rehabilitation, emergency department, otorhinolaryngology, dermatology, proctology, chronic wound treatment, and physical examination center (occupational health examinations). The emergency department provides 24-hour emergency services with a green channel for critically ill patients, and 120 ambulances are always on standby. In 2013, it became the first low-cost pilot hospital in the city. In May 2017, our physical examination center was awarded certification by Guangdong Provincial Occupational Health Association for conducting occupational health examinations, making it the only medical institution in Daodong Town qualified for such services. In 2017, our geriatrics department was recognized by the Dongguan Municipal Health Commission as a municipal clinical specialty department.
