Guangzhou Tianhe District People's Hospital

Guangzhou Tianhe District People's Hospital is located in the eastern part of Guangzhou's Tianhe District. It was originally known as Dongpu People's Hospital and was established in 1962. Under the leadership of the District Party Committee, District Government, and Bureau Party Committee, with support from the District People's Congress, CPPCC, and relevant departments, and through the efforts of successive hospital leadership teams and medical staff, it has now become a non-profit secondary general hospital with comprehensive capabilities in medical care, emergency treatment, scientific research, teaching, prevention, health care, rehabilitation, and community health services. The hospital is situated in the eastern part of Tianhe District, featuring a large scale, complete specialty settings, advanced facilities and equipment, and strong overall strength. It serves as a technical cooperation base for Guangzhou Military Region General Hospital, a designated medical unit for Guangzhou social security, and a member of Guangzhou's '120' network. The hospital undertakes medical care, emergency response, community health, and medical security tasks for nearly 700,000 residents in the eastern Tianhe area. The total land area of the hospital is 8,777 square meters, with a building area of 14,574 square meters. It has a planned bed capacity of 120, but currently operates 155 beds.
